How to fold fitted sheets

Folding fitted sheets can be a challenge for many, but with the right technique it becomes easy and gives a nice result every time. Step 1: Spread out the sheet on a flat surface
Start by laying out your fitted sheet on a clean, flat surface, such as a bed or table. Make sure the sheet is completely smooth and no folds or wrinkles remain.

Step 2: Fold in the corners
Grab one of the corners at the bottom of the sheet and lift it over to the opposite corner at the top. Place the folded corner right on top of the other corner, making sure the edges are even.

Step 3: Fold in the card sides
Grab one short side of the sheet and fold it in towards the middle, so that the edges meet in the middle of the sheet. Repeat the same steps with the other short side so that both sides are folded towards the middle.

Step 4: Fold the sheet into three parts
Now comes an important part to achieve the envelope-like folding. Grab one long side of the sheet and fold it over towards the middle. Then do the same with the other long side so that both sides meet in the middle. You should now have a sheet folded in three parts.

Step 5: Create the envelope shape
Take the folded sheet and fold it once more, so that you get a narrower strip. Next, take one end of the sheet and fold it in toward the center. Do the same with the other end. Finally, fold the sheet in half lengthwise to create the classic envelope shape.
